I {heart} Valentine’s Day, and I double {heart} pie.

If it’s red or pink,  heart shaped and glittery I’m all over it.

Valentine's Day Party with Pillsbury

Stella has never really been a girly girl {total bummer}, but lately things have been changing a bit. She’s becoming a bit more interested in her clothes. She definitely spends a ton more time in the bathroom getting ready for school, and suddenly nail polish and makeup are of the utmost importance.  I was quite excited until I figured it out…BOYS

Help me

Anyways, back to Valentine’s, and pie. Mom’s of pre-teen girls need pie. Lots and lots of pie.

Stella is all about a party. She loves crafting, and decorating, and pretty much anything that involves sugar, and as long as it does NOT involve boys, I’m cool with it.

We had such a fun afternoon.

There were sugar cookie pops

we even cut out tiny hearts from the pie scraps to sit on the hot coco mugs

Stella made chalkboard heart shaped coasters, and of course there was red and pink everywhere.

They may think they are all grown up, but the afternoon was full of little girl giggles, and that made my heart smile.
