buttermilk doughnuts with cinnamon and sugar

I have been running everyday.

If you follow me on instagram you know that my favorite part of my run

is the END!

{it sure does feel good when you’re done}

I feel like I’m running my butt off,

but nope…it’s still behind me,

and too much of it in my opinion.

But still..I run,

and I run,

and I run.

Even when I’d rather be eating doughnuts

    I’ve never tried baked yeast doughnuts but I’ve been wanting to. I’ve done baked cake doughnuts, though. They look delicious! I’m going to have to try them.

    This recipe looks fabulous! My boys love homemade baked donuts. Really they love anything with sugar, but they do ask for donuts a lot! There is something wonderful that happens when you bake with buttermilk that you just can’t get with a substitute! I just pinned this, it will make happy smiling faces I know :) Krista @ A Handful of Everything

    I would love to make these for my kiddos for breakfast, but because of the prep time I don’t want to have to get up at 5am! Could I get them prepped the night before and store in the fridge?
