Oven Roasted French Fries

As parents,
sometimes we need that
{do what you gotta do}
mentality.

I have been known to use bribery from time to time.

I know it’s wrong.

In a perfect world, kids would just do it
{whatever that it was}
because you said so.

Rooms would always be clean
Teeth always brushed
Homework…done
Dinner eaten with no complaints.

Wouldn’t that be nice.

Sometimes, dinner gets eaten with the promise of dessert,

OR

when it’s served with fries.

Oven roasted fries
~adapted from bon appetit

4 russet potatoes {medium sized}
1/4 olive oil
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
salt/pepper

cut each potato {skin on}
into 8 wedges

toss with the olive oil, spices, salt and pepper

roast potatoes on a foil lined baking sheet
{make sure that they are not crowded}
@450 for 30 – 40 minutes
until they are golden brown and crispy
{turning them over once}

It may not be popular, but you’d be surprised how many veggies get eaten when fries are involved:)
