So…
I may be the only person to have never made muddy buddies
a.k.a. puppy chow
{very fitting at my house}
Sure they all look good,
but I definitely prefer my snacks
salty to sweet.
{hello fries}
Dessert is completely different,
{and I like my dessert, maybe a little too much}
but I don’t really see puppy chow as dessert
it is definitely snack food.
But today, I was strolling down the cereal aisle,
and then the Valentine’s day aisle,
and this puppy chow is what happened next.
Stella almost put milk on it:)
“it’s cereal mom”
Charlie proclaimed it the
“best thing ever”
and I may now be a sweet snacker
{good thing Ian got me a treadmill}
Enjoy!
Chocolate Raspberry Puppy Chow
6 cups of rice chex cereal
1 package of Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate and Raspberry Squares {chopped}
2 tbsp butter
1 – 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar
handful {or more} of raspberry m&m candies
melt the chocolates and the butter
{over medium heat – stir until melted}
pour over the cereal, and stir until thoroughly combined
in a large ziploc bag, toss the cereal with the powdered sugar
allow to dry/cool on a baking sheet
toss with the m&ms
easy and addicting,
not exactly the best combo

But making it cereal might be good!!! I heart puppy chow. I made a version today too!
Stella’s dream breakfast!
You are not alone…last weekend was the first time I had ever made the stuff too! Now I am addicted! I love that you used the raspberry chocolate squares! YUM!!!
Seriously addicting! It’s almost gone already
Oh we are addicted to puppy chow around here! LOVE this version
My nieces LOVE puppy chow. I’ll have to throw in Valentine’s Day chocolates and it’s ready to go for the holiday!
I am new to this puppy chow…but it looks good!
