Broiled Grapefruit with Cinnamon

I’ve grilled many a fruit.

peaches
plums
apples
pineapple

never grapefruit
and I’ve never broiled a fruit until today.

But…seeing as  how I will eat mainly fruits and veggies for the next 28 days
{I’m beginning the whole living cleanse today}

I needed to find some fun ways to do that.

I love grapefruit,
although I can’t say we eat them a lot.

I’m not actually sure why,
they are delicious.

Broiled…they are OVER THE TOP GOOD

I strongly suggest trying them this way at least once.

you will need 1 grapefruit for every two people you are serving
{I just broiled one}
{yes I ate the whole thing}
{I’m HUNGRY}
1/2 tsp honey
1 tsp cinnamon

cut your grapefruit in half
section
drizzle with the honey {or agave}
sprinkle with cinnamon

broil on high for about 6 minutes
{use the rack in the highest position so that the tops will caramelize nicely}

OOOH they were SO yummy

28 days may not be as bad as it sounds:)

Enjoy!
