Hot Chocolate {mug} Brownie

Today I was planning on sharing fudge with you all.

Delicious, creme de menthe fudge,
and while it is certainly delicious,
it did not firm up according to my plan,
so that recipe will need to wait.

I guess things happen for a reason, because
this may be the single easiest
most amazing
post
ever.

Microwave mug cookies, cakes, and brownies are nothing new.
I haven’t made them before, but it’s always in the back of my mind.

What’s  not to love about a quick, hot, gooey dessert for one,
ready in a minute.

Mug brownie here I come,
only I am out of cocoa powder.

Heading to the store kind of defeats the purpose of a quick and easy treat,
but I do have hot chocolate mix,
and marshmallows for that hot chocolate mix.

Hot Chocolate mug Brownie w/marshmallows:
6 tbsp hot chocolate mix
4 tbsp flour
3 tbsp water
2 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp vanilla (peppermint would be great as well)
handful of mini marshmallows

In a large  mug
combine the flour and hot chocolate mix
stir in the water, butter, and vanilla
top with the marshmallows

microwave on high for 1 – 1 1/2 minutes
do not over cook ~ the brownie should be molten in the center

be careful – the mug will be VERY hot

be warned, having this information is dangerous

Enjoy!
