My mother-in-law is the QUEEN of the package.
Books
Note cards

Hand-made doll clothes
Stella’s American Girl dolls are far better dressed (and with matching shoes) than I am thanks to Grandma
Of course I love when books arrive, but my favorite mail surprise is hands down Penzyeys spices.
My spice cabinet would be full of tumbleweeds if it wasn’t for Carolyn.
When I shop, it’s just something that I don’t usually think about.
Luckily for me, she’s got me covered.
What did I do before apple pie spice?
I am in love with this little jar.
My poor pies must have felt naked!
If I’m cooking with apples, you can be sure my apple pie spice is not far away.
Like granola
cinnamon would have been fine, but…
now I don’t have apple cinnamon granola
I have Apple Pie granola.
Not much difference; however, when you are trying to convince your 12 year old to eat something healthy, pie for breakfast sounds like a treat!
Apple Pie Granola:
3 cups of oats (not quick cooking)
1/3 cup of ground flax
1/2 cup of apple sauce
1/4 cup of honey
1 – 2 tsp apple pie spice
dash of salt
dried apples
in a small bowl combine the apple sauce and honey
pour over the oats
add in the flax, spice, and salt
mix everything well – making sure to evenly coat the oats
spread in an even layer on a baking sheet
bake @325 for 30 – 40 minutes
allow to cool
add in apple pieces
store in an airtight container
Enjoy!

This looks super amazing! Off to add it to my pins! Have a wonderful day!
thanks so much
I’ve always wondered about apple pie spice! I need to try it. This granola looks heavenly!
That looks very tasty. So fall!
Okay, wait one second. I knew there was pumpkin pie spice (something I got SOSTOKED!! to buy at Trader Joe’s a couple days ago for a dollar) but now you throw a wrench at me and tell me there’s this magical thing called APPLE pie spice? Whaaaaaaaaat?! I am going to buy that and put it on everything. Including granola because this looks amazeballs.
Okay, wow! Apple Pie Granola, I’m in! This will be so good on top of my plain yogurt, with a spoonful of soy nuts, drizzled with honey. Can’t wait to try it.
