My kids and my hubby LOVED s’more pizza.
Unfortunately, so did she…
Greta – our lovable, counter surfing, Weimaraner; she actually ate most of it.
Charlie and Stella have been begging me to make another, but I’m not all that excited about repeating a recipe so soon.
I was pretty confident that I could come up with a treat to please everyone.
These s’more inspired cookie bars are a blend of a classic graham cracker, meets chocolate chip cookie, meets marshmallow s’more.
Yummo
For the s’more bars:
line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment
cream together 4 tbsp butter with 1 cup of dark brown sugar and 1/3 cup of mild honey
add in 1 egg, 2 tsp vanilla, and 3 tbsp milk (whole milk is best)
mix in 2 and 1/2 cups of flour with 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp baking soda
gently add in 1/2 cup of milk chocolate chips and 1 cup of mini marshmallows
press into the baking dish
bake @ 350F for 20 minutes
press in individual squares of a Hershey bar (I used all 12)
bake for another 7 – 10 minutes until golden brown on top
let cool before cutting (will make 12 bars)
Enjoy!
