I’m not entirely sure why, but I love to make a souffle. When I first began getting serious about my kitchen adventures, Julia’s Souffle Au Fromage was at the top of my list.

As it turns out, they aren’t nearly as finicky as one might think.
The only recipe I have ever used was hers, until now.

The Cheese Souffle recipe from Around My French Table (page 350) won me over. This was my personal best souffle ever!

I enjoyed every minute of this week’s French Fridays with Dorie recipe!
Bon Appetit!

WOW! Yours is gorgeous! Congratulations!
Oh, so poofy
Very well done. I am impressed.
I wish mine looked that good!
Your personal best ever? Congrats! It looks delicious.
Heather, Congrats on your souffle! It looks perfectly delicious! Beautifully done!
Mine was my personal best too (but as it was my only, it was not as impressive as yours!). Looks so pretty!
It rose so beautifully! Good to know that this recipe won out even over Julia’s.
Lovely!
Stunning!!! Yours poofed up prefectly!
Looks so beautiful, great job. Tricia and I both enjoyed this recipe,
not too difficult to make. Love the photo.
The shape of soufflés are what get me hooked. You just never know what they are going to end up looking like. Each one unique. This looks just fantastic!
Nice job, Heather. I love how easy you make it all seem. My experience was filled with anxiety.
